Graham
is a real cutie who will either mesmerize you with his piercing
blue eyes or his unique body art. He's young, smart, funny,
and has a nice little body on him. With so many appealing
qualities, we weren't sure we'd have enough time and film
to capture them all in one shooting. With that said, we ventured
into several surrounding areas just to be sure we got all
of his good angles. We first met him at his place to capture
a few shots and he was eager to get his video started so we
went ahead and filmed his video in his bedroom. He then took
us to a private area that led to a nice creek setting for
some great photo opps, and then we ventured back to the house
in the suburbs and captured some great stuff in the basement.
After we went over the material, he felt his video could have
been a little better and requested to do a take two. So a
second video was captured using the same setup. We couldn't
decide which video was actually more fun to watch, so we will
treat you to both of them and let you decide for yourself.
Throughout the day, we had an interesting conversation about
his tattoos, so we wanted to share a little bit of the history
behind them. First, he told us the script on his upper right
arm, "sic luceat lux", which is latin for "Let
the light shine" comes from his favorite book "The
Club Dumas." That was his first tattoo. Then came the
upper left arm script "in nostro mundo obscuro,"
which is a latin translation of a Peter Gabriel song called
"Secret World." That is his favorite song of all
time. His chest piece is pretty simple, it's a coffee illustration.
He tells us that he lives and breathes the stuff. Not only
does he drink a lot of it, but also works on all ends of the
coffee industry from barista to purchasing and roasting the
green beans, to volunteering on farms. The tattoo on his right
calf is a lime in a coconut, originating as a line from another
of his favorite songs... one that he says never fails to cheer
him up.
There
are a few other tattoos that he admits will remain a mystery,
and only a few of the closest people in his life will ever
know the meaning behind them. Fair enough, as we certainly
like a little mystery in a guy. He also tells us that there
may be more tattoos to come, including one that he plans to
have based around the writings of HP Lovecraft. A very unique,
expressive, and intriguing guy to say the least!
